We attended the Peckham Peculiar launch party for the newest hyperlocal periodical for Peckham. We were glad to have helped Kickstart the newspaper in a small way. The first issue has a peep inside Peckham’s famous hair salons of Rye Lane, a piece about the legendary Peckham Liberal Club, thoughts on the redevelopment of Peckham Rye station and a recipe for sticky, spicy chicken that I absolutely must try out! There was also a great piece on BBC1’s Breakfast Show about the launch of the magazine, also featuring Lou from Captured on the Rye with his Made in Peckham designs!
