A concert of music by Turina, Liszt and Granados, and transcriptions of songs by The Prodigy performed by “rising star” of the piano, Emmanuel Vass, at one of London’s most unique and quirky venues, Brunswick House. The performance will take place in the opulent Saloon room. Tickets include a glass of prosecco on arrival.

When I am not teaching, I have lots of musical ventures on the go – performing as a harpsichordist, organising the Dulwich Piano Festival and curating the South London Concert Series (SLCS) with my piano teaching colleague Frances Wilson. SLCS is a series of concert mixing contemporary classical music with socialising in unique and unusual venues in London. Tunes to inspire young pianists – James Bond Concert Etude & Bohemian Rhapsody by Emmanuel Vass

Earlier in May this year, I was very fortunate to be introduced to up and coming young pianist Emmanuel Vass by my colleague Frances Wilson. Frances had met Manny on his tour for his CD, “From Bach to Bond“. Manny very kindly agreed to perform at the launch event for the London Piano Meetup Group and was so popular that we decided to book him to perform at the South London Concert Series in January. Unsurprisingly, the tickets are nearly sold out for his recital even though we are two months away. Manny is Classic FM’s latest featured artist which is a fantastic achievement for a recent graduate and such a young pianist.

London Piano Meetup Group Launch Party

You are invited to the launch of the new London Piano Meetup Group at Peregrine’s Pianos on Saturday 18 May at 5.30pm.

You can choose to perform or listen to fellow pianists playing on a Fazioli 212 Grand Piano. Time limit per performer: Up to 5 minutes. Please leave details of your repertoire with your RSVP.

All performers receive a goody bag thanks to the generosity of our event sponsors.

Pianist Emmanuel Vass will perform a short recital to conclude the event.
Tickets must be booked in advance, they will not be on sale on the door.

We have spaces for 10 performers and 30 observers. Tickets are at a discounted rate for the launch event of £15 for performers and £5 for observers (usually £20 and £10).
