Music Aptitude Test training for 2020 Secondary School Admissions

Our team of teachers offer specialist Music Aptitude Test & Scholarship training for Year 5 students hoping to enter on a Music Scholarship place in September 2020 to schools such as Dame Alice Owen, Kingsdale, Haberdashers, Ashmole and several other UK state schools.

We have spaces available on Thursdays for Music Aptitude Test training with Rachael at our studio in East Dulwich. Weekend sessions will be available on selected dates in June and July with Claire. Lessons are individual 1-to-1 sessions. Group workshops are available during August.

Music Aptitude Test training for secondary state school admissions

Half-term is over and we’re thinking ahead to this Autumn when many students will sit the Music Aptitude Tests for schools such as Habs, Kingsdale and Prendergast in South London. Further afield, there are many schools throughout the UK also using this system.

Join us for a 1-to-1 session to help Year 4, 5 and 6 musicians prepare for the upcoming Music Scholarships for 2019 state secondary admissions.

The session will focus on Music Aptitude Test training that is the first round of the selective music intake process.

If you would like to focus on Round Two, do bring your instrument (if possible) and we will listen to your audition piece(s) and give advice on performance as well as prep the interview questions with you. We have a piano available for your use as well as an accompanist so please both music parts if accompanied.

This is an individual group training session lasting 1 hour.

Music Scholarship Success for 2019 Admissions to Habs & Prendergast

Huge congratulations to Orla on achieving a full Music Scholarship to both Haberdashers’ Aske’s and Prendergast Schools. Orla plays the piano and French horn and is the recipient of our Junior Achievement Shield for her recent scholarship success! Orla studies piano with Lorraine and learns the French horn at her primary school.
